SERVICE OPTIONS

High Capacity connections

With the advent of Metro Ethernet, Lanz is able to offer businesses faster connections coupled with greater resilience and therefore higher availability.

Connections start from 10Mbps and expand to 1Gbps, upgrading is simple and flexible requiring no equipment change from an ISP point of view.

Metro Ethernet is both flexible and inherently resilient, this type of connection can be used for Internet access and point to point connections linking businesses too Remote Offices, Hosting Centres & DR Facilities on a Pan European basis, typical services include General Internet Access, Disaster Recovery, eBusiness & Data Centre connectivity.

Lease Lines

The traditional way of gaining Internet connectivity, tried and tested and still very popular with clients wanting more reliable connectivity than DSL.

Whilst slightly more expensive than DSL; Lease Lines do not suffer the same type of issues associated with the lower cost connections, SLA's are based on 24x7x4 responses, this method of connectivity is better suited to clients requiring higher levels of availability.

Multiple lines can be combined providing greater capacity and higher resilience.

SDSL Connections

Lanz provide SDSL connections where a low cost solution fits the business needs.

SDSL has a number of advantages over ADSL: generally less contention, greater upload speeds and usually better SLA's.

ADSL Connections

ADSL is ideal as an entry level service for organisations with low usage and reliance on Internet services, installed using an existing telephone line. It splits the line into two, one for voice and the other for Internet Access.

There are varying speeds generally between 2Mbps > 8Mbps with varying contention rates and SLA's.
